★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here with a group due to a family connection with one of our members. The building is several hundred years old, and immaculately preserved. This was the best lunch we had on our entire 10-day European trip. The service was terrific, the schnitzel was the best I've ever had, and the beer was the perfect temperature and pour. We lingered to take photos of the amazing sculptures on the bridge and took in the nearby Church of St. John, which is a well-deserved recipient of UNESCO World Heritage Site designation. It was well worth the short (and very scenic!) detour on our drive from Krakow to Prague

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stop by there every time we drive past Zdar which means at least 3-4 times per year. It never disappoints. Tasty food and friendly staff. The interior has its charm of an old Czech krčma too.
