★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome food.. Unfortunately I could not taste their beer as I had to drive. I would recommend this place to any hungry tourist looking for local delicious food.. The prices were super affordable.. The atmosphere inside was beautiful.. High roof, old tables and old brewing equipment..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reasonable quality for an affordable price. We enjoyed our dishes: a burger and a steak. The service was friendly, it could only improve communication about the preparation of meat. Tank beer was delicious.

The main disadvantage is that they do not accept bank cards, only cash! And if you decide to pay euro, the exchange rate is predatory (22 CZK when the official rate is about 25 CZK per EUR).

It is not difficult to work out what is wrong: the place is understaffed, and what staff there are are running around and stressed out. The beer is good, the food reasonable. It is horrible to see very young, female staff treated like this! It creates an atmosphere, which, if it could be fixed with additional staff, would make this a great restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was looking forward to having some classical Czech meal, unfortunately Svíckova and Guláš did not taste as expected and were too boring. In comparison to other Czech restaurants it was more or less disappointing and not worth the money. (209 each, worth 80 each)
Money ... Yes you can't pay by card in this restaurant, interesting and a bit old fashioned.
The advantage here, no-one cares about Corona, so masks or vaccination certificates not needed at all
If you want to hang out with friends and enjoy a beer, you won't do anything wrong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cosy place with very good beer on tap from steel barrels.
This is not an upscale place but more like a pub with rather decent (hearty and strictly not sophisticated) food. But for what it is it is very decent. We went there twice actually because they have a non alcoholic beer on tap, which is rare.
Prices and service are very okay.
