I went in the first night after the opera dressed in a three piece suit as my hotel was nearby and everyone's attitude was accepting despite me speaking little Czech. And it being a sports bar.
I went in again on a Saturday and everyone was enjoying themselves and singing along with each other and enjoying their company a novel experience for me who is used to bitterness, bar fights and people avoiding each others company in the UK. I felt a great feeling of companionship.
I even called in late Sunday with a different barman and he was just as good a guy and pleasant.
All in all the place is a little rough around the edges but if you like good company beer and sport this place is a diamond. And real Prague.
