Municipal Council Letky-Chejnov handed over to the public a memorial in honor of the fallen and deceased fellow citizens during World War II in 1921. The memorial was built of Hořice stone by company of Břetislav Vobořil from nearby town Kralupy nad Vltavou. For future generations, a tin box with Austrian war coins, a commemorative file on parchment paper, and former vouchers for food rations were placed in the monument. From the two cardinal points the names of the fallen are engraved in stone in eternal memory and decorated with gold letters.
