It is a really cool experience. Every hour there is a "show" from the clock. I'd really suggest you study a little before going because if you just go with no back study, it will be hard for you to figure out time ?. But whenever the hour strikes, there are so many moving parts that it makes you want to go back for more to pay attention to everything. Not only that, the clock is on the main square of Prague, so either way you are gonna pass by it. Enjoy you TIME and Prague.

Wonderful piece of architecture, definitely a must see when you are in Prague. You should go the exact hour for example 4 pm or 5 pm to see the amazing show that happens. Get there a few minutes early because it can get crowded but you will not regret. It’s free so you can just look at it from the street

PRAGUE is my Mother city ...what can I say except it takes your breath away with versatile architecture, from Medieval through to Baroque, Gothic, Neo-classical, and much more. Like a crown is the famous Castle perched high on the hill overlooking the whole city which emanates a magical fairy tale quality. I know Praha like the back of my hand as I have lived there with my half-sister who was born there and speaking fluent Czech makes Prague my second home...I will share some pictures from my many stays which should wet your appetite enough to visit this ambient city with amazing food, beer of course, and the Czech jazz musicians either in Night clubs or in town squares ,or on the famous Charles bridge are world class! There is so much to explore and discover !

It is worth seeing it from inside! Every day, the first working hour is with 50% ticket reduction. If you want to take a proper picture (with light over the clock) - go before lunch.

This beautiful old tower is located in the old city main square. You can sit in a nearby cafe, restaurant or a bench and watch it. Every certain time (30 minutes or 1 hour) you can see the figures moving out from the upper part. It’s a very known tourists attraction. People are waiting there to catch that moment with their cameras. All the area is full of restaurants and shops.

This review is only for the workers here, as I couldn't go up to the tower. People so, so rude. There was a system error so you could only buy with cash. They clearly told me there was no problem at all with cash. So I go to withdraw cash to the bank (not a single one close) and when I came back, another worker told me that that was false, I can't buy with cash now. What happened between those exact 20 minutes? Who knows. Maybe they didn't feel like working at all and wanted to go home early (this was 17:30 by the way). Not a single sorry for lying to your face. Nothing. Just a "fork you", we don't care. Update: up to 3 stars, because the views deserve better rating, the rest still applies. It's perfect at sunset, so you can view the area by day and night if you wait. The rooftops at sunset are great to look at. But you get pretty much the same (plus the bridge itself) views facing the Castle from Charles Bridge and surroundings. You don't gain anything extra from the height though.

Of course the most famous popular and marked place in Prague. Very comfortable to walk here cause every sights very closed. Also you can sit to drink beer and enjoy check cuisine. Walk and eat the best here. Enjoy.
