★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Neo-Baroque-Art Nouveau administrative object of the Prague City Insurance Company was built in the years 1899-1901 according to the project of O. Polívka on the site of three demolished Baroque houses. The left (narrower) part of the building is a replica of the original baroque house "U zlaté hvězdy" (by the Golden Star). The sculptural decoration of the facade was attended by L. Šaloun (allegories of four University faculties, Fire and Water), F. Urban, F. Procházka and B. Schnirch (Calling for Alarm and Fighting a Fire), ornamentation by F. Kraumann.
Novobarokně-secesní administrativní budova Pražské městské pojišťovny byla vystavěna v letech 1899–1901 podle projektu O. Polívky na místě tří zbořených barokních domů. Levá (užší) část objektu je replikou původního barokního domu U zlaté hvězdy. Na sochařské výzdobě průčelí se podíleli L. Šaloun (alegorie čtyř univerzitních fakult, Oheň a voda), F. Urban, F. Procházka a B. Schnirch (Volání na poplach a Hašení), ornamentální výzdoba je dílem F. Kraumanna.
