The fountain is located in the north-western part of Prague's Old Town Square on the corner of Pařížská Street, behind the chancel of the church and was created by architect Rudolf Kříženecký. The shaped tank in the middle of the fountain is decorated with a profiled column with three interlocking dolphins. These are the work of sculptor František Hnátka. The Cubist lattice on the fountain is probably a work designed by the architect and architect Josef Chochol. The fountain was built in 1906 as part of the landscaping after the sanitation. Kašna se nachází v severozápadní části pražského Staroměstského náměstí na rohu Pařížské ulice, za kněžištěm kostela a vytvořil ji architekt Rudolf Kříženecký. Tvarovanou nádrž ve středu kašny zdobí profilovaný sloupek se třemi propletenými delfíny. Ti jsou dílem sochaře Františka Hnátka. Kubistická mříž na kašně je patrně práce podle návrhu stavitele a architekta Josefa Chochola. Kašna byla postavena roku 1906 v rámci úprav tohoto prostranství po asanaci. Ve většině publikací býval obvykle jako autor sochy uváděn sochař Jan Štursa. Díky pátrání pana Vladimíra Černého ze Zákolan bylo zjištěno, že autorem a zhotovitelem sousoší delfínů byl zákolanský rodák František Hnátek. Jeho návrh byl na základě vytvořené skicy upřednostněn technickou komisí z roku 1905 před návrhem Jana Štursy, jakožto "umělecky relativně lepší" a jistou roli hrála i finanční stránka: "dále jest peněžitá nabídka na zhotovení ve skutečné velikosti lacinější nabídky pana Stursy"
