Beautiful stop and nice staff who will talk to you as if you are old friends.

I also have to dump in front of the station staff, not only that they like to talk to someone, but also provide an open WiFi network, which is the same at each station, but not public.

O víkendu sem zajíždí i pražský motoráček.
Before reconstruction, the station had a nice atmosphere. On weekdays the train runs to the main railway station or to Hostivice every hour. The Prague motorcycle will also be here this weekend.

Zelená krásně zapadne do terénu, nové vysoké nástupiště umožňuje nástup a výstup s kočárkem i vozíčkářům.
It has not been possible to work on it since they reconstructed our station. The green fits beautifully into the terrain, the new high platform allows boarding and disembarking for wheelchairs. This has been impossible in recent years. Access to the platform is seamless. It is a pity that they canceled the sale of tickets here as well, and a ticket can only be purchased from the driver on the entire route.

The railway station on one of the oldest railway lines of the Buštěhrad Railway from Smíchov to Hostivice, also called the Prague Semmering, has been in operation since 1872. During totality, this station was widely used by locals, as many worked in Kladno and the only fast connection with Kladno existed by rail. The same was true in the opposite direction - it was a very convenient connection with Smíchov and Prague. Today, the station is not that busy, but still has barrier-free access to all platforms, not so to the station building. Directly opposite the station there is a three-track tram loop Sídliště Řepy.

Once my friend was running late for train and it departed already. The station master called the driver and the tiny bus on rails returned back to pick her up - she was one of only a couple people taking it regularly, back then. More and more people are now using this station. It should be called Řepy, as the neighborhood and adjacent tram stop is called, despite being technically in Zličín city district. It is confusing as much better known Zličín metro station and the neighborhood are about 5 bus stops away.
