★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hezké historické místo po zbořené bráně, zachovány části hradeb. V ulici pod branou jsou na jednom domě sochy 2 ženských hlav, údajně 2 panenky ze známé lidové písničky.
Nice historic site along the demolished gate, preserved parts of the walls. In the street below the gate there are statues of 2 female heads on one house, allegedly 2 dolls from a famous folk song.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Když jsem já šel tou Putimskou branou ..." jedno z nejznámějších míst v Písku, u kterého se vyplatí zastavit. Zvlášť, když je nedaleko centra a odtud je hezká procházka kolem řeky ke Kamennému mostu.
"When I went through the Putim Gate ..." one of the most famous places in Písek, where it pays to stop. Especially when it is close to the center and from there there is a nice walk around the river to the Stone Bridge.
