Není to vůbec udržované.
If you don't try, you won't know if it's worth it or not. It's not worth it at all. Maybe it was just a coincidence and not normally there, but I felt like I was somewhere in a warehouse. Around the ground, various objects for which there was no label, so I assume it shouldn't even be there. On the ground boxes in which are parts of floor coverings. If you get outside, there is just a mess. It is not maintained at all. The photos they have on the official website do not correspond to the current reality at all. If it looked like the photos from the web, the rating would be completely different. Admission for 120 CZK and 45 CZK is collected for photography for private purposes, that does not seem adequate to me. If that doesn't get better, I don't recommend visiting this place. It's a pity, the potential has it, but someone has to take care of it and not just collect money. In the end, they do not take cards and the place is not barrier-free.

It's an oldest power plant in the Czech Republic, so if you are nearby, you must see this place!

Very interesting museum - it is a working oldschool power plant. If you are an engineer, you must see it.

The Municipal Power Plant in Písek is one of The oldest functioning hydroelectric power plant in the Czech Republic. The power plant was exhibited by František Křižík on June 23, 1887. Písek thus became the first town in Bohemia with permanent public electric lighting. It was put into operation on 31 August 1888 in the premises of the then Podskalský mill. The building, including machinery, is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. Two Francis turbines continue to work here on exposure. Opening hours: April to October daily except Monday 9.00–12.00 and 13.00–16.00 (in July and August until 18.00). Admission for adults is 100 CZK. it may seem too much to someone. It was very adequate for me. it is necessary to draw attention to the photo fee.
