Great praise for the nice reclamation of the place, unfortunately due to the low water level quite the smell of swamp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nádherně zrekultivovaný kus krajiny. Znovu-propojené rameno řeky Odry, cestičky, cyklostezky. Ideální na projížďku na kole nebo procházka pěšky. Je úžasné, že kousek od centra Ostravy můžete pozorovat ještě surovou přírodu s minimálním zásahem člověka. V blízkosti nacházející se areál Landek Park Vám nabídne občerstvení všeho druhu. Doporučuji navštívit i geologický unikát - výchozy uhelných slojí na povrch, který se nachází na úpatí kopce Landek. Stačí jen vyrazit a objevovat :-)
A beautifully reclaimed piece of landscape. Re-connected arm of the river Odra, paths, cycle paths. Ideal for cycling or walking. It is amazing that a short distance from the center of Ostrava you can still observe raw nature with minimal human intervention. The nearby Landek Park complex will offer you refreshments of all kinds. I recommend visiting a unique geological site - outcrops of coal seams to the surface, which is located at the foot of the hill Landek. Just go and discover :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Místo je kouzelné - najdeme tady zákoutí okolo vody, jsou zde i místa se skalami. V areálu Landekparku je dostatek laviček k odpočinku, nejdeme zde i několik občerstvení. Na konci loňského léta byla upravena a zpřístupněna část haldy i pro cyklisty.
V srpnu se zde jezdí tradiční závod horských kol Ostravský Chachar poté, co skončil v Bělském lese. Areál je dostatečně rozlehlý a členitý, aby pojal spousty návštěvníků a aby při tom měl každý pocit, že je zde málo lidí.
The place is magical - we can find nooks around the water, there are also places with rocks. There are plenty of benches to relax in the Landekpark area, and there are also several snacks. At the end of last summer, part of the heap was modified and made accessible for cyclists.
In August, the traditional Ostrava Chachar mountain bike race takes place here after it ended up in the Bělský Forest. The area is large and rugged enough to accommodate many visitors and to make everyone feel that there are few people.
