You can find a better option to try the local food, but it will do in a pinch.

Great Great taste but again small portions. There were in total 3 normal sized bites of meat and the rest was bread with sauce. And at the end we had on the receipt 670Kč but the waitress typed in 740Kč in the Card Reader without asking. She spoke english just until we asked for the receipt. Then she was "not understanding" . When she saw that she has to give it first thing she said was "The service is included" and this is what ist says on the paper : (Look at the picture)
A disappointment since the food tasted great but small portions and shady service doesn't earn a good rating.

The food is delicious (we took the potato mushrooms soup in a bread and the meat plate for 2), the staff was very friendly and funny.
Definitely a place to come back to.

It is a small warm place with very homie atmosphere!!!
People working there are really nice and polite, happy to serve you.
We ordered different things to try.
Everything came quickly, warm and fresh cooked!!! Everything was really tasty, well presented with big portions.
Prices are very normal.
You should give this place a try!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has become my favorite restaurant in Prague. The food (traditional Czech favorites) is delicious, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Wherever I ask for recommendations, they never steer me wrong, and in addition to speaking Czech, they're able to assist customers in English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, and Italian. It's reasonably priced, with a pleasant, homey atmosphere. I especially recommend the roast duck and the ribs. And be sure to leave room for dessert; I'm especially fond of their strudel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible lunch! While playing tourist in Prauge, I stumbled onto this place right off the beaten path. The service was great from the moment I sat down outside. They have menus in seven languages including English and German.
I had the 1/4 duck with dumplings and purple kraut. It was very well prepared. The bread and dumplings were perfect and the duck was tender and full of flavor. I wish I could come back again tomorrow!
