Jsme farní společenství u kostela svatého Jakuba v Kutné Hoře. Scházíme se k bohoslužbám a nejrůznějším aktivitám, při kterých sdílíme svou víru, naději a zkušenost s Boží láskou a milosrdenstvím. Provozujeme Církevní mateřskou školu svatého Jakuba a podporujeme Církevní gymnázium v Kutné Hoře. Spravujeme chrám svaté Barbory a další duchovní památky v Kutné Hoře a okolí.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After the founding of the town, a spiritual administration was established in the vicinity of the Gothic church of St. Jakub the Elder. In 1388, the construction of the Gothic church of St. Barbara, the patron saint of miners, began. Kutná Hora was under the Malín parish until 1410. An independent parish was established in Kutná Hora only this year. The Archdeaconry of the Catholic Church with descriptive number 1 prepared the pupils for university studies. Between it and the church you can still walk on the original paving from 1680.
Po založení města byla zřízena duchovní správa při gotickém kostele, zasvěceném sv. Jakubovi Staršímu. V roce 1388 začala výstavba gotického chrámu svaté Barbory, patronky horníků. Kutná Hora byla až do roku 1410 pod malínskou farností. Samostatná farnost byla v Kutné Hoře ustavena až v tomto roce. Arciděkanství katolické církve s číslem popisným 1 připravovalo žáky k univerzitnímu studiu. Mezi jím a kostelem je dodnes původní dlažba z roku 1680.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From outside the church is large but a bit avarage. But when we came closer, we heard the organ playing which immediately draw our attention. Coming inside, the music was impressive and the church gorgeous but relatively sober. A nice lady gave us a paper with information which completed the perfect visit to the church.
