★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in prague for 4 days, and 3 of them I went to this park.
For me was one of the best places i could find in the city with some nature and also to relax.
During the summer days, prague can be very hot, so this place has a lot of trees, great for some shadow. Also you can just chill in the grass..or even a nap after a long day of exploring the city center.
It also has a great and peculiar view to the city, since you are in the middle of the river.
Here you can also appreciate some music concerts (I was able to enjoy a jazz concert in the background, while i was relaxing) and they have a couple of cafes and restaurants.
If you can, go there close to the sunset hours.. the colours of the sky and reflecting in the waters are really amazing!
Ohhh, also they have a cashless policy in the island.. so you can only consume if you have a card.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great getaway from the noise of the city. Quiet, serene, beautiful and green. Take your time to rest your legs and ears here. Beavers and ducks can be found abundant here, they are friendly and like to get some snacks from you - carrots and such are preferred.
