★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice historic lock in a beautiful city. The river has some drop so to get up or down the river you will need to go through the lock. Although it does take a while to fill up completely, the view is very nice. So you won't get bored while waiting. This lock is quite large so a lot of boats fit inside. This does make the whole process a lot more efficient.
