Učiliště sídlí na zámku Horky, hlavní oblastí je gastronomie, cestovní ruch a zemědělství. Barokní zámek vznikl přestavbou renesančního zámku, kterému předcházela gotická tvrz.
The school is located at the Horky chateau, the main areas are gastronomy, tourism and agriculture. The Baroque chateau was created by rebuilding a Renaissance chateau, which was preceded by a Gothic fortress.

The castle building stands on the site of an ancient wooden fortificated object that guards a major ford across Jizera river. A village named Horka was founded around it in 1346. An elevated position on a steep promontory above the Jizera river valley together with the church of St. Nicholas creates clear dominants of the surrounding area. There are no reports about the founding of the fortress (as well as the original form), the first documented owner was in Franěk of Brodce 1346. Other owners included Škopek´s family of Dubá or Jan of Obříství. The oldest and historically most valuable part of the building is the late Gothic tower, built at the end of the 15th century by a stonecutter Staňek from the Lesser Town of Prague for temporary owner of the castle Vácslav Klusá from Kostelec.
