Sculpture of St. Jan Nepomucký with two side angels on a high three-part plinth was founded in 1752 and its author is the sculptor Jan Antonín Quitainer. It stands in the focus of Pohořelec, it is a visual dominant from both Loretánská Street and Úvoz. The sculptural group comes from the hands of the important Prague late Baroque sculptor J. A. Quitainer. The sculptural group standing in the middle of Pohořelec originally stood on the corner of Hradčanské náměstí and Kanovnická street, from where it was transported and installed in Pohořelec in 1846. The author of the iconographic program is probably the Strahov monk and sculptor Tadeáš Hochhaus. The architectural pedestal consists of a relatively high profiled prism with a higher middle part, on which is a statue of St. Jana, and side wings, finished with volutes with ravines for figures of angels. Postava sv. Jana is slightly stepped on and esophageal. John is dressed in the characteristic robe of a priest in a rochet, with a biret on his head. In his right he holds a crucifix, in his left he holds a palm of victory (now missing). The figure of St. Jan is slightly outstretched and swayed. Jan is dressed in the characteristic robe of a priest, with a biret (liturgic headcover used in the Roman Catholic Church) on his head. In the right he holds a crucifix, on the left holding the palm of victory (now missing).

In the former suburb of Hradcany, now Pogorzhelets Square - in its very center stands a statue of St. John of Nepomuk. It is interesting to note that the monument stands on the former frontal place where the lower class citizens were executed. This sculptural composition appeared here in 1846. Earlier, in 1752, it was located on the corner of Kanovnitskaya and Hradchanskaya Square. The monument is made in the Baroque style.
