Bronzové sousoší z roku 1934 alegoricky znázorňuje nedaleký soutok. Jemné rysy a krásně propletené postavy ženy a muže, krásné. Obě řeky se spojí a Labe pokračuje po svė cestě dál k moři. Procházíte krásným místem, kterým jsou Jiráskovy sady. Park má nádherně upravené záhony s růžemi, maceškami a dalšími květinami. Má i pečivě upravenė travnaté plochy a je plný vzrostlých stromů a keřů. Cestičky lemují lavičky pro chvilky odpočinku. Opravdu nádhera. P	Petr Bártík on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jiráskovy sady jsou velmi příjemným místem v centru Hradce, který je díky obklopení řek z obou stran fakticky odstřižen od městského ruchu. Jsou tu velké krásné stromy a v létě nádherně udržované sady plné běžných i exotických rostlin. Zároveň je tu mnoho laviček, kam si může člověk sednout. Jedinou nevýhodou je velký ruch, který tu panuje, a nepříliš vkusný most na Gočárově okruhu, který tak trochu "kazí" výhled z parku. Naopak však díky tomuto mostu máme krásné panorama soutoku s katedrálou a Bílou věží, pokud zrovna na mostě sami stojíme. The only downside is the big bustle that prevails here and the not very tasteful bridge on the Gočár circuit, which somewhat "spoils" the view from the park. On the contrary, thanks to this bridge, we have a beautiful panorama of the confluence with the cathedral and the White Tower, if we are standing on the bridge alone.
