Pramení na jihozápadním úbočí vrchu Složiště v místech zaniklé vesnice Heřmanov v nadmořské výšce 650 metrů. Poté protéká Vojenským újezdem Hradiště. V obci Kyselka (nedaleko stáčírny Mattoni) se vlévá zprava do Ohře.
