St Laurence's Church

Beautiful baroque church of St. Lawrence,

A beautiful church cemetery with preserved graves and monuments from the 20 and 30 years of the last century.

The settlement, called Prácheň, was founded in the 1930s and originally served a wooden church for the religious needs of the inhabitants. In its place, a new church in the Baroque style was built in the years 1780-1782 by the builder Jan Václav Kosch from Děčín. In 1854, a bell tower was built, in which three bells were placed, but they were requisitioned during the war. Only one bell from 1747 has been preserved. The tower clock dates from 1855, but has been inoperative for a long time. In 1890, the cemetery around the church was enlarged and surrounded by a new wall. The interior furnishings date from the end of the 18th century and from the period around 1800. At present, there are only occasional services in the church.
