★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zastrčený kostel sv. Vavřince Na Nižším Hrádku. Býval centrum dávné osady Nižší Hrádek. Kostel je jednoduchá stavba a s jedinou obdélnou lodí, čtvercovým presbytářem a hrotitým vítězným obloukem. Současné užívání: Církev československá husitská. -MINUS: neudržované okolí.
Stuck Church of Sts. Of Lawrence On Lower Castle. It used to be the center of an ancient settlement called Nižší Hrádek. The church is a simple building with a single rectangular boat, a square presbytery and a pointed triumphal arch. Present Use: Czechoslovak Hussite Church. -MINUS: Unkempt surroundings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ranně gotický kostel z 2. pol. 13. stol. na Nižším Hrádku. To byla samostatná osada, dokonce starší jak sám Brandýs nad Labem. Kostel měl pohnutý osud. Nejprve farní kostel brandýský (1354), za husitských válek připadl církvi podobojí až do roku 1510. Pak byl dlouho nepoužíván a císař Josef II ho dokonce zrušil. Pak z něj byla mimo jiné sýpka a nebo městská tělocvična. Od roku 1928 patří zrekonstruovaný kostel Československé církvi husitské. Kostelík je to poměrně malý a tomu, kdo Brandýs nezná dá trochu práce ho najít. Kostelík se dokonce objevil i ve filmu - Dvě nevěsty a jedna svatba (2018).
Early Gothic church from the second half of the 13th century. in Nižní Hrádek. It was a separate settlement, even older than Brandýs nad Labem itself. The church had a troubled fate. At first, the parish church of Brandýs (1354), during the Hussite wars it belonged to the church in 1510. Then it was not used for a long time and Emperor Joseph II even abolished it. Then it was, among other things, a granary or a city gym. Since 1928, the reconstructed church belongs to the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. The church is relatively small and for those who do not know Brandys, it will take some work to find him. The church even appeared in the film - Two Brides and One Wedding (2018).
