The oldest church in Krásná Lípa was built in the years 1332–1368. The current Baroque single-nave church of St. Mary Magdalene was built on this site between 1754 and 1758. The construction was led by Mr. Hoffmann from Lipová. A tower was built in 1777, then a monumental staircase in front of the church in 1816-1818. In front of the church by the staircase stands a large cross, carved in 1818 from a single piece of stone. In the former cemetery complex, which surrounds the church, there are two preserved Rococo tombstones from 1792 and 1794 and other Classicist tombstones from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Thanks to the elevated position of the land and its height, the beautiful church forms a clear dominant feature of the historic city center. The oldest church in Krásná Lípa was built in 1332–1368. It is old and the tooth of time is visible, nothing less is still beautiful. We experienced a string concert in it - it was beautiful.
