Scammy place! We picked this one simply because we were hungry and this was close. Waited 45 minutes for our food only to leave and go to the supermarket to buy more Small portions that don't come with any sides, not a single potato or vegetable in sight! Of course, more expensive than any other place in Prague. The bread starter which we didn't order was charged extra and the service was extremely poor, the waitress rude and demanding the tip (definitely not deserved!) Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

It was a lovely mom & pop restaurant. It was an alcove set back off s side street from the Old Town Square. I was looking for something more traditional Czech. I was not disappointed. I had the veal with sauerkraut, red cabbage and bread dumplings. It was the best meal I've had in Prague.

We tried for the first time goulash in a bread and we loved it! ? The goulash itself was very tasty, the meat very soft. And that bread huuuum was marvellous, crunchy crust and soft inside. It was a great experience!

For a local food/Prague experience make sure you visit this restaurant and order a soup served-in-bread, some nice roast duck or pork, a delicious dark beer and a flaming digestif (schnaps) served in a supersize glass! I had a lovely experience with my wife for ~50€. Location is very close to the Old Town Square Below you can read many reviews about forced tips but I visited this place several times, also back in 2017, and it never happened! But yes they deserve a tip!

בקצרה- תתרחקו מפה. יקר, צוות לא נחמד, אוכל לא לטעמנו. ועכשיו באנגלית: One star is the only honest review I can unfortunately give. Took forever for the waitress to come take our order. She didn't speak english or russian and couldn't properly help us, which is a bit crazy considering the location of the restaurant. Generally, the staff was not nice and welcoming, we didn't get a good feeling at all sitting there. It's like they wanted us to leave. But the most imporatnt thing- food was extremely expensive, and in our opinion didn't taste good nor fresh.

First time in my life that I went to the same restaurant ordering the same dish on two consecutive days. That tells a lot about how happy I am with their goulash in bread and the atmosphere in general. I’m not a big fan of bread but this is the best bread in the world! Right texture, right flavour, right everything! Beware of the huge portion size of broccoli in cheese cream. That alone is a main dish of large quantity. I will come back the next time I visit Prague!

We were looking for a place to eat something traditional. After all, you can buy any kind of food at any of the restaurants in the city. The place was a bit dark. Food was average to good, but we indeed eat something different, not common. Service was good, and food was well cooked. It was a very cold day and that place really warmed us a lot with food and atmosphere. Beer is a must in this place as Czech Republic is famous for beers. Prices were average. We left full and warm on to our next adventure.
