★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brązowy pomnik urodzonego w 1805 roku w Horní Planie (Oberplan) pisarza, poety i malarza Adalberta Stiftera, zaliczanego do najwybitniejszych twórców tzw. literatury austriackiej, autora niezliczonych nowel i opowiadań, w których opiewa m.in. piękno Šumavy, oraz powieści, w tym historycznego fresku epickiego "Witiko". Realistyczna statua mniej więcej natualnej wielkości przedstawia autora opartego o występ kamiennego cokołu, na którym widnieje brązowa tablica niosąca wyjątek z noweli "Der Hochwald" ("Hvozd"), odnoszący się do okolicznych gór.
 Bronze statue of the writer, poet and painter Adalbert Stifter, born in 1805 in Horní Plana (Oberplan), one of the most outstanding authors of the so-called Austrian literature, author of countless short stories and short stories, in which he mentions, inter alia, the beauty of Šumava and novels, including the historical epic fresco "Witiko". A realistic statue of more or less natural size shows the author leaning against a ledge of a stone plinth with a bronze plaque bearing an exception from the novel "Der Hochwald" ("Hvozd") referring to the surrounding mountains.
