Jde spíš o hezkou procházku a výhled do okolní krajiny. We left Střílek from the cemetery. The nakedness to the remains of the castle is just over 2 km. Na vrcholu kopce kolem hradu je kompletně vykácený les a je odtud daleký výhled do okolní krajiny. Za jasného počasí až desítky kilometrů. Za dřívějších dob, kdy byly lesy mnohem více vykácené byla přímá viditelnost mezi hrady Buchlov, Cimburk a Střílky. Návštěva hradu stojí rozhodně za to.
