Terrace hotel is located in the recreation area on the bank of the pond Olsovec in Jedovnice. For guests there is a small parking lot, but it can be easily reached from the center of the town and on foot. As the name of the hotel itself suggests the dominant and unmistakable element of the building are the terraces. It is therefore no wonder that the hotel restaurant also uses terraces for summer seating. The interior is airy and spacious with wooden ceiling construction. In the center of the throne is a huge aquarium, non-violently separating the entrance area and the corner bar from the rest of the restaurant. On the walls of pastel colors are several graphics and large LED TV. At the time of my visit on Saturday after noon, the establishment is completely empty except for one family celebration. Nevertheless, the operator is always on the set with a nice and helpful approach. Although they can get some foul over here, such as when couvert is charged to me in the middle of the main run, but otherwise everything is fine. I start with fish soup with vegetables, cream and roasted croutons. It is rich with honest pieces of fish, nicely balanced and cuddly. To stay stylish, I choose salmon steak with grilled vegetables and boiled potatoes as the main course. The adjustment and stylization on the plate is very nice, the potatoes are served solo. Salmon is a nice piece, but it has one major drawback: one of its parts is almost cold. It's the same with vegetables. If the tomatoes are so warm that they can't even be taken into the mouth, the rest is lukewarm to cold. Potatoes hold bass with other items, so they won't save much. The menu of desserts is limited to just two items, pancakes or ice cream cup. I choose the latter. It is a classic without surprise, such a standard that is available in any hotel, rest house or inn. Fruits, something ice cream and a whipped cream top garnished with chocolate and wafers. Espresso illy with cream is another classic that does not deviate from the limits of ordinary. To be nice weather, I would probably enjoy lounging on the terrace under the parasol and listening to the waves coming over the shore. But because I am unlucky on the weather, only those gastronomic experiences have remained, and this time they have not played too much.
