Texas Steakhouse

Found this place on google. Great food, country music, beer could be better. They only have Budweiser on tap. Not sure if that’s all they had left. You see other beers on tap. I’ll definitely be coming back in. If you have the chance I suggest you do the same.

While the place doesn't look very inviting, being situated in a dimly lit basement, the food was really good. We had burgers that tasted great, even if it took a little bit longer to prepare them. I would definitely recommend checking it out at least for the food. YMMV on the cheesy american rock/country music playing there.

At first vibe is wierd but it all disappears once you get served by lady who is also owners wife. It's a family restaurant business and they put alot of effort for their guests to feel like you're actually in Texas USA, and that's great. Music was excellent, service was great and her charm was so memorising...her English is not the best but who cares when that smile and warmth takes everything to a great family level. Food ... Fresh, delicious, best steak meat that melts in your mouth...great portions...worth the money in every sense. Great value. Definitely we're gonna eat there again

The server is terrible, weird atmosphere - the restaurant has no soul and no atmosphere. The place doesn't smell like steakhouse at all, it looks dated and lifeless. You wanna run away as soon as you've first conversation with the server. The food might be good but we couldn't bring ourselves even to the point or ordering food - we drank the nasty beer and left.

A wonderful place, always underrated in the "best burger in town" rankings due to the very slow service although the food is worth the wait. It doesn't look clean nor fancy, doesn't make any noise on social media but again, I have not experienced better burgers in Prague. Not mentioning the price, way lower than the competition: 130Kc burger + home made fries (beyond words as well) back in the days when they were open for lunch. There is some magic going on in this kitchen.

We were really looking forward to trying this place because I see it all the time. But that excitement came to an abrupt halt. I came in with a friend and we were hoping to celebrate the birthday of our other friend (who's actually from Texas). The lady at the bar immediately said there were no seats available, even though there was only one table of people in the restaurant. I asked if there were any openings later that night (we would have been fine with returning later on) and she quickly said "no". I was confused and we just walked out. I told my Czech speaking friend what happened and then she called and asked if there was room. The woman said there was and allowed my friend to make a reservation... I don't know what the woman's deal was, but it's a bit crazy to be so rude to potential customers, even if their Czech isn't great. At least I try. Texas Steakhouse ruined the birthday of a Texan living in Prague...

Very delicius and tender steak, with homemade fries, onion rings and bbq sauce. Sweet and helpfull host. A place we are going to recomend. ???

Best steaks in the neighborhood. One advice : order it raw and enjoy the meat melting in your mouth! Important info: you can only pay cash (about 300-350 CZK per person)
