The Castle Pub & Restaurant - Thunovská 181/16

Very nice and hidden restaurant with good food for reasonable prices and kind service. Their home made lemonade comes in 3 flavors and is huge (appr. .5 liter). You can ask for honey on your goat cheese sandwich.

Friendly people, beautiful location, great vibe, fair prices vs other tourist pubs and restaurants! Recommended!

Update 25.11.2018 ⬇️⬇️⬇️ I hate it when this happens, but this place let me down two times in a row. The last time I wanted to impress my business partner - and failed miserably. The ribs were older than the old town: impossible to even cut and smelled badly. The bruschetta became bad too.. I had to refuse my plate and it was an important meeting - what a bad impression I made. The staff is still polite and friendly, i feel sorry for them. ⬆️⬆️⬆️ Newly open place in Mala Strana, which I sincerely hope will live up to the expectations - I was missing such a restaurant in the hood. The menu is simple and so far I have tried the starters: an originally-served Bruschetta (don't expect it the Italian way, but bonus points for detectable garlic), solid goat cheese and Carpaccio which was abundant, but left me unimpressed (too thick slices). The one beer I tried (extra-hoppy Staropramen) was....a Staropramen - the first glass is ok, when you're thirsty. Other beers on tap are Guinness and some dark lager I have yet to try. Some items from the menu were still missing, understandable so, we came 3 days after opening. The place is clean, neatly organised and has a cosy fireplace in the main hall - what a delight to sit nearby on cold autumn days! The prices are a little "touristy" but we have to accept that in this part of town. The staff is friendly and welcomes you with a smile. Overall, a pleasant experience - I will be coming back.. Fingers crossed for this one!

After observing incredible night view from castle, I stopped here to have dinner. Fillet steak was amazing.

Been here a few times over the years and still good pub with good drink, good food and good service. Worth a visit. The lad who works this bar is the nicest lad you will find in Prague.

We stopped here to get away from the cold weather. The place looks great, very clean. The service is very pleasant We warmed up over a glass of a very tasty Hot Chocolate and Hot Wine. The Chocolate Cherry punch is very tasty too - Very flavoured!

Really beautiful to spend amazing time. Excellent beer and other drinks.You can have Gulasch in bread. Very kind service.
