★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location was perfect for us, just a little way down a side alley only a couple of hundred meters away from Charles bridge. This hotel offers easy access to Lesser Town and Old Town.
The rooms seemed of a decent size with a modern en-suite with shower, wc, sink and hair dryer. The towels provided were of a quality you'd expect from a hotel. The only thing was the lack of surfaces and the positions of the power sockets in the main bedroom. There was a kettle provided with little cups, we had to plug the kettle in across the room, next to the side of the bed with a socket as this was the only surface where a socket was nearby.
The breakfast we're adequate, we stayed three nights and the hot choice changed daily although I wasn't sure about the mixed vegetable for breakfast (yes, I do mean cauliflower, broccoli, peas, carrots etc.). There was ample fruit, pastries, cold meat and cheeses.
The staff were all very presentable, helpful and all understood English.
Would we stay at this hotel again? Would we recommend to a friend? The answer is yes to both.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is superb, the staff lovely, the classical look great & yes, we would stay here again for all these pluses..... Just needs a little maintenance, window handle fell off, as did wardrobe handle, curtain came down & parque floor was filled with pollyfiller...... Such a shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s always a pleasure, staying at the Charles. Awesome location, spacious rooms, good breakfast and friendly stuff. Internet speed is fast, international TV channels available. Parking is a bit hard, but it’s hard all over Prague.
I’ll be back next week…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is conveniently situated, it is a short and easy walk to many sights. There are a lot of restaurant options around and even a small food market across the street.
The room was spacious and the bathroom practical. All very clean.
The breakfast had everything you need to fuel up to start your day walking around Prague.
Great value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ROOM DOOR WOULDNT LOCK!!
The manager ignored my phone call and email about this:
Manager,
Jerry at the front desk said you have no key that allows the door to lock from the inside.
This is NOT acceptable. You cannot sell a room that doesn’t lock!!! I will demand a full refund from my credit card company and booking agent if you do not change my room.. Please credit me for the room if you cannot fix this.
Thanks,
Ron
Someone actually tried to enter our room!
AVOID THIS PLACE!!
Also, Loud music from the bar below until 3am!! Dark, dated room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very oldie worldie but a fabulous experience, staff very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast the usual continental with 3 warm dishes each day, definately set us (me and my brother)up for the day. I personally would stay again, found it clean and adequate for our needs. My only complaint if any was that the mattress was too hard for me, (my brother said his was fine) but on obtaining an extra pillow which I laid on i found I slept fine.
ABSOLUTELY GREAT LOCATION, WITH THE CHARLES BRIDGE ROUND THE CORNER

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Russian housemaid stole my Air Pods and fast charger. I was able to trace them via the "Find My" device on my IPHONE. At first the hotel refused to believe me, until I was able to provide screenshots of the location of my Air Pods (which is where the maid lived). The front desk called the maid and she said “I locked everything forgotten inside room 109 in the
lost and found room." However, after the staff
searched room 109 and the lost and found room, nothing was there. I compelled the hotel to recontact the maid, but she refused to take calls from the hotel (for about 30 minutes). At this point, I asked to front desk to call the police and assist me in filing a police report. The front desk made another call which I thought was to the police; however, it was to the maid (and she answered). I was able to trace my Air Pods slowly returning towards the hotel. When the maid returned, she asked the front desk for the key to the lost and found room and stated she was going to retrieve the “lost" items. I informed the front desk to follow the maid so they verify her could verify the maid "pulling my stolen items from her purse or jacket!" The receptionist and the maid went upstairs and started a verbal argument. The receptionist returned with my stolen items and semi-apologized for the incident.
I cannot in good faith support any hotel that
condones thievery or robbery. If someone is in
need, ask me for help....DON'T STEAL OR ROB!!!!!! I don't believe the hotel will fire the maid for her actions (however, I could be wrong). I believe the maid thought we were checking out and not returning (we were actually switching hotels, but planned to remain in Prague). This maid thought she could get away with stealing, I am sure it was not her
first time thieving, nor will it be her last. I don't know if management is in on the act (I hope this is not the case).
Management made no effort to compensate for the inconvenience. This lack of action speaks volumes of how they run their business.
