Beautiful dominant tower in Ostrov

Najdeme tu třeba Pašeráckou stěnu, Koráb, Soudek, Orla a Orlici, Káču a Alenku, Policejní anton, Špičák a Špičku, Malý popravčí kámen, Chlebník, nebo Lesníka. The strip of sandstone towers stretching along the Ostrov village to the German side is an interesting show of human creativity and fantasy as to the naming of individual massifs. We can find here, for example, the Smugglers' Wall, Sailing ship, Small cask, Eagels, Káča and Alice, Prison van, Špičák and Špička, Small Stone, Bread bag or Forester. The dominant rock tower on the northern side of the island valley with the Czech national flag on top was named "The Emperor". Flag to its pinnacle was placed at a time when the Ostrov village was a tightly guarded frontier zone by legendary climber Gerhard Tschunko with his friends.
