Na pódiu pod širým nebem v amfiteátrech, skanzenu a zámeckém se před publikem střídají přední folklorní soubory z Čech, Moravy a Slezska. Součástí víkendového programu bývá pravidelně i vystoupení řady zahraničních folklorních skupin, čímž se strážnický festival už šest desítek let řadí k významným mezinárodním festivalům.
Every year, on the last weekend of June, the castle park in Strážnice comes to life with folk music, dance and numerous programs reminiscent of ancient traditions and customs. Leading folklore ensembles from Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia take turns in front of the audience on the open-air stage in the amphitheatres, open-air museum and chateau. The weekend program also includes regular performances by a number of foreign folklore groups, making the Strážnice festival one of the major international festivals for six decades.
