Toto divadlo vzniklo až v roce 1822 přestavbou starší hospodářské budovy. Budovu v klasicistním stylu navrhl stavitel Josef Gaube, který je autorem řady budov v Litoměřicích. Boční přístavky jsou z konce 19. století. Poslední velká rekonstrukce pod vedením J. Eise byla dokončena v roce 1991. Z původní stavby zůstaly zachovány jen obvodové zdi. The beginnings of theater performance in Litoměřice can be found for the period around 1549, when the city utrakvistic school located in today's Jesuitská Street was promoted to a higher-level institute - a college in which it´s pupils played the first theater performance in town. This theater was founded only in 1822 by the reconstruction of an older agricultural building. The object in the classicist style was designed by builder Josef Gaube, who is the author of many buildings in Litoměřice. The sidewalks are from the end of the 19th century. The last major reconstruction led by J. Eis was completed in 1991. Only the perimeter walls have been preserved from the original building. Celé představení hned stali za 550 Kč. Performance wonderful! For the founders of the theater - The amount of the entrance fee does not correspond to the view from the balcony, where nothing can be seen despite the set technology. The whole performance immediately cost 550 CZK.

P	Petr Markvart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toto je pěkné divadlo v okresním městě. Mají tu kavárnu a na chodbách často vystavují nějaká umělecká díla. Celkem tu je pěkná atmosféra. Sezení na balkóně po stranách není moc pohodlné, protože se musíte naklánět, abyste viděli na jeviště. Většinou tu hostují soubory z jiných divadel. This is a nice theater in the county town. They have a café and often exhibit some works of art in the hallways. Overall, there is a nice atmosphere. Sitting on the balcony on the sides is not very comfortable, because you have to lean to see the stage. Mostly there are ensembles from other theaters.
