Litoměřice jsou moje srdcová záležitost. I když od roku 1993 žiju jinde, rád se sem vracím. Mám to tu rád. Památky, atmosféru města a lidi v něm.
Litomerice is my heart business. Although I have lived elsewhere since 1993, I like to come back here. I like it here. Sights, atmosphere of the city and people in it.

Z infa nam ochotný mladik zapalený historií vše pověděl a ukázal, nakonec jsme vyšplhali až do rozhledny Kalich.
From the info, a willing young man full of history told us everything and showed us, and finally we climbed up to the Kalich lookout tower. Beautiful views. Litoměřice full of history. The best circuit from the info to St. Stephen, down the street to the restaurant Pod parou and Macha's Stairs to the fences and then to the square. I recommend.

Neskutečně pěkná památka s úžasným podkrovím a s nádherným výhledem na krajinu. V Kalichu se mi moc líbilo a komentář průvodce naprosto dokonalý. Doporučuji vám navštívit tuto historickou památku.
An incredibly nice landmark with an amazing attic and spectacular views of the countryside. I liked Kalich very much and the guide commentary was absolutely perfect. I suggest you visit this historic monument.

Beautiful building. Like the whole square in Litomerice, which is full of beautiful historic buildings. The overall impression is marred by houses "decorated" with advertising and the like, but as elsewhere here, history and monuments have to give way to leaving and money ...

Das Kelchhaus dient heute als Rathaus. Markant ist der Aufbau auf dem Dach. Dieser "Hussitenkelch" ist das Wahrzeichen der Stadt.
The chalice house now serves as the town hall. The structure on the roof is striking. This "Hussite goblet" is the symbol of the city.

The chalice house is interesting because it has a tower on the roof. It is located on the Peace Square in Litoměřice. On 20 and 21.9. there was a vintage.

Unikátní! Jak výkladem tak místem a fantastickým rozhledem. Nutné objednat předem. Rozhodně za to stojí! Diky
Unique! As the interpretation of space and fantastic views. Must be ordered in advance. Definitely worth it! Thanks

This is called bad luck: just during my short visit of Litoměřice, the Calyx House was closed for technical reasons for two weeks. Originally called the House Underneath Cupola has an unusual prospect on its roof (and the true symbol of Litoměřice) - a calyx shaped tower. Originally a late Gothic house from the first half of the 16th century, rebuilt in the Renaissance style by the Italian architect Ambrož Balli for the family of Mráz from Milešovka, is an important burgher house. Jan Samuel Mráz let to rebuild this house in the years 1570-1580 to today's basic form with a calyx dome. The Mráz family held the office of the permenters of the mountains of the vineyards and they were also the city councilors. The house was used not only for festive occasions for a family, but was also confered to the rare visits of Litoměřice. A meeting of the city council was held in the Kalich Tower. At meetings, each councilor had one window in which he was hanging out the flag - at first glance, it was clear who attended the council.
