★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Renesanční zámek sv. Víta vznikl přestavbou původní gotické tvrze. O přesné podobě toho moc nevíme, šlo však o čtyřkřídlou budovu kolem obdélného dvora. Roku 1621 Tuchoměřice koupili jezuité a v 50. letech 17. století zámek opravili.
Renaissance chateau of St. Vitus was created by rebuilding the original Gothic fortress. We don't know much about the exact form, but it was a four-winged building around a rectangular courtyard. In 1621 Tuchoměřice was bought by the Jesuits and in the 1950s the chateau was repaired. The oldest parts of today's building date back to the period after 1665. The new church of St. Vitus was created thanks to the Italian architect G. D. Orsim de Orsini, who designed the repair and reconstruction of the entire complex. It has retained its 17th-century appearance to this day, in the 18th century, the current entrance wing was added. Between 1899 and 1987, there was a hospital for the long-term sick, administered by the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Charles Boromeo. After November 1989, the building was returned to the Roman Catholic Church as part of restitution. At present, the chateau complex is gradually being repaired and serves as a religious house of the Chemin Neuf community.
