The laziest employees ever. The worst service ever. How HR can hire people like this. I came to office just for confirmation. The young lady was sitting on her desk and playing with her phone. I asked her, can she help me? She talked with aggresively and said 'NO'. I love this bank, bit not this office.

I used an American debit Visa card to withdraw cash in one of their ATMs. The machine steered me toward using the 9% commission option when withdrawing Czech Krounas. I learned that if you reject that option and just choose NO and continue; your bank card will automatically convert the currency for you using the best interbank rate with just a very small buy/sell spread. Make sure you decline that 9% option to maximize your exchange. For instance to change for 500 Czk, the difference is being charged 21.41 USD vs. being charged 24.35 USD.

The absolute WORST service I have ever received from a bank. If you don't speak Czech, DON'T bother going here. The staff are rude and inconsiderate of your time. If you are working in customer service, you must understand that YOU are providing a service for a client. So YOU must be presentable, professional and kind. Or else clients will take their request somewhere else. For example me, I'll be changing to Equabank. Also, I understand I am going to a bank in the Czech Republic, but you are allowing foreigners to open accounts, so you should be able to attend to the clients needs (I.e. English). Yesterday I had walked in for an official bank statement for the renewal of my residence permit. After 10-15 minutes of waiting I was assisted by Jeanette Paralova. I started to explain that first I needed to put money into my account and then I would need an official bank statement. I wanted to know if this was possible to do in one day. She cut me off mid sentence and rudely said I don't speak English (In my defense: why are you taking a client who clearly does not speak Czech? Pass me onto one of your colleagues that DOES speak English). After 5-7 minutes of doing something on her computer, she took out her phone and google translated "You need a bank confirmation". So once more I started to explain what I needed and her colleague walked over to us. Her colleague briefly said that I could put the money into my account today, but only receive the statement tomorrow. I asked that the statement be ready in the morning because I had my residence permit appointment that day. Today I came at 9:00am like we had agreed on. I said "Dobry den" to Jeanette Paralova, who completely ignored me. The same colleague from yesterday was with her. Jeanette Paralova pointed at me and started discussing me with her colleague. I know she was talking about me because she started with "Ona..." when pointing at me. I speak Russian so I know that "ona" is "she". It is extremely rude to talk about a client to their face without even greeting them. She then went back to her desk WITHOUT saying hello, without telling me the status of my documents, without helping me, without even telling me to wait a moment. After 5 minutes, a different colleague walked up to me to help. Thank you, Thi And Tran for assisting me. She told me I needed to pay 1500 CZK (60 EUR), which NO ONE told me yesterday. While I paid at the cash desk, she had already typed up the document. She was very friendly & helpful. Thank you Thi And Tran! Unicredit criticism: 60 euros for a simple paper stating my bank balance? Really? This is ridiculous. I have been to many banks and the document was either free or 10 euros MAX. I feel like I'm the one who should receive 60 euros for the awful customer service you provided. Also, 2 day policy to receive a bank statement? The lady literally took 5 minutes to type it up. Change your policies and train your staff or else you will lose even more customers.

Opening hours from 9:00 to 17:00... Well, I should up at 12:25 during lunch break resulting on the employee at the door standing up to close the door and lock in front of me. However, he put paper saying "we are open and wait for employee to open the door". Ok, Covid measure I guess, so i wait.. 12:45 the same employee open the door and ask me what I want??? he pointed to another paper showing Lunch Break close for 12:45 to 13:30 and tell me "go away". Zero customer mindset and rude employee

The positive side of this branch is that some of the employees speak English. Now for the negative side, my account got hacked 2x in 10 days. I went to the bank to block the card and the employee blocked the wrong card, from my other account. As a result I had to order a new one that supposedly cost 650kc for express delivery (otherwise I had to wait for 10 days to receive the card). Even in spite of the employees mistake to have blocked the wrong card, they refused to waive the express fee. So I asked to withdraw some cash in the meantime to be able to pay within these 10 days and I was told "sorry it is now 5:02 and the cash register closes at 5:00. You have to come back tomorrow to withdraw, and there is a fee of 150czk if you withdraw at the counter". That bank allowed my account to be hacked twice, blocked the wrong card, refused to waive the card fee and asked me to pay a fee to withdraw cash. What a customer service! Also, I overall found that their online banking app is very restrictive, you cannot alter any account detail like your phone number, address or even the daily limit on your card. You cannot send messages or emails to your account representative, nothing. Needless to say I closed my accounts with UniCredit straight away, I should have done it a long time ago.

Alina Danilova is one of the friendliest bankers I've ever met! Great service!

Extremely unpleasant approach to the customer needs. Pavel Mikolasek started working on my loan application and then he never got back to me, he vanished, didn’t answer my calls and once I got to the branch they told me he just left. Unicredit, you must do something with your customer service.

Unicredit in general sucks in customer service. Their general phone line is always busy. Your banker never responds, especially in the Namesti Miru branch. I am fed up. Will move my account after the new year.
