★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The review under mine is correct in that complaint in the fact that English students are managed by one person and one person only, so when there is an issue, there is very little wiggle room to sort it out.
HOWEVER the university is nice, campus is neither to big or too small, classes are quite small (I'm speaking about the English program) with 40 students only and split into groups for practice. If you are motivated you can really volunteer and get down a lot of practice (that's out of the curriculum but still). Most teachers are really nice (we gave our phone number to the ruminant's teacher and get to practice on farms when he needed help with a c-section or other emergencies). The small animal clinic is where you get a lot of experience but still not enough (and I am speaking as a graduated student). Unless you force yourself to learn some czech (which I did. On my own time. Cause the czech classes in first year teach you next to nothing) then you will have a hard time, because the vets will speak czech during consultations (obviously) and even though some will do a recap for you of the case, it's not the same as getting the whole info. In any case in the last years you will be doing an internship in your country, but that's a little slim for experience.
Overall I liked the university and would recommend it, although from what I hear a lot of things are changing. Good luck!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though the facilities and staff are mostly up to European standards, the university alienates foreign students of the English Study programme. Announcements for extracurricular activities, events and such, are all in Czech language. All emails to students regarding a wide range of happenings in the university is in Czech. Sometimes students get emails written in poor English from a staff member in a certain office that handles students of the English Study programme.
This brings us to the next issue. The office which is responsible for helping foreign students with their many issues is run by one person and is open for a limited time only. Not only this, but the person working there is incredibly racist and refuses to help 80% of students. Students are forced to wait while this person favors others, chats or does anything else non-productive. Foreign students with simple questions about university rules are faced with verbal abuse and in an unbelievably unprofessional manner. The person responsible for this office cites that students should know university rules - problem is the rules in the VFU website are outdated and/or in Czech.
All in all, if you're a foreign student, get ready to jump through MANY hoops. The university is nice, but having a borderline schizophrenic bipolar person run an important office is a major setback.
You might be wondering: ''Why doesn't anyone report this?''. The problem is that all complaints from foreigners go through the above mentioned office. You try to take that issue anywhere else, the staff will either not understand what the hell you're talking about (since you don't have the privilege of speaking Czech) or will refer you to that same office.
Existing students will know what I'm talking about. To all newcomers for the English Study programme: get ready to feel like an outsider, like never before. This university is Slytherin and you're a Mudblood. You're a rebel and they're the Empire. You're Batman in Arkham Asylum. If you're not ready for a new level of unprofessionalism and racism, stay away. As Gandalf once said: ''Fly, you fools!''
