The originally Gothic house was remarkably Renaissance and then finally rebuilt in Baroque style. It´s significance lies, among other things, in the fact that it was owned and rebuilt by Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel, who bought it in 1705 for 3,000 golden coins and he lived here until his death in 1723. In 1727, the house was sold to Santini's widow for 4580 golden coins. Santini probably rebuilt the house shortly after his purchase. Until the end of the 18th century, the house was owned by prominent Lesser Town goldsmiths. At the beginning of the 19th century there was a bakery here. Currently, the house serves as the Santini Residence.

One of the venerable buildings. It is also known for being remodeled by Italian Czech architect Santini-Aihel. Currently open as a hostel.

The ham was not the classic slavic one, just the average middle european one. Nothing special about this place. Search a pizzeria downtown...
