★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Starobylá Velvarská brána o které jsou záznamy již z poloviny 15. století. Několikrát byla opravována. Současná podoba brány je po opravě v roce 1868. Brána byla součástí opevnění a to připomíná expozice uvnitř brány. Je zde muzeum historie Slaného.
