In 1840, there were mostly pastures on the territory of today's Bohdalec hill. The territory of Tyršov vrch was mostly covered by orchards and in several places also by quarries. Until 1930, it formed together with the neighboring Bohdalec one compact hill called Sychrov, but it was divided by so called Bohdalec notch due to the construction of the track. Afforestation of both hills was not carried out until the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. From the viewpoint on the south side there is a nice view of Spořilov and part of the Botič valley. At the top is an archery range.
