★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing zoo! Very clean and nicely decorated. You can find an Australian hut and an African village with huts that you can explore. Zones are arranged by continents. My absolute favourites have to be the suricates. Around the zoo you can find dispensers that give you coins with different animals. The zoo bans smoking inside, but they offer smoking in two zones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great zoo, very close to the city center. We spent approx 3 hours there. They have lots of interesting species there, especially the snow leopards and all the monkeys were impressive. There are a lot of picnic tables and bathrooms and snack bars. I think the entrance fee is very cheap, considering how big and well maintained the garden is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst zoo’s in Czech. Small spaces for animals, dirty and not taken care off. Many animals exhibited stereotypical movement. Hrošík liberijský, the Hippo is clearly suffering. Please give him more suitable area and company for living. Not going to visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place with interesting animal, lots of facts, together with kids activities. All at not very big place so you don't need to walk whole days. Still quite a spacious for animals living there.
Well, parking is not that big and you may need an alternative nearby...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First impression was not quite good. At the main parking entrance we asked whether the dogs are allowed here, we got a response - they are not. If we would not search for other possibilities we would be forced to leave. They should have told us right away that there are a dog kennels available at the second entrance or there should be a sign saying so to spare us this negative experience. Otherwise, the zoo itself is pretty nice and in the end we enjoyed it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best zoos I've been to! The animals are maximum close to the people. You are at a touching distance of the little monkeys! They have a feeding schedule and different performances with different animals. Last time we watched the birds of prey: owls, falcons and eagles flying show. It was marvellous, the caretaker made the owls stay on the benches next to the people, practically at touching distance, and he made the falcon walk on the backs of the audience. It was a magical show! Great job Zoo Jihlava!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing. I don't recommend buying fried cheese, because if you do, you will literally get a thin fried cheese, nothing else. No bread nor vegetables, just anything. Don't buy food there and be sure to bring your own drinks.
