The Zubatovská Chapel stands in the former cemetery at the Holy Trinity Church. The Classicist tomb of Chlumec Postmaster Alois Zubatý was created in 1836, but not completed until 1842 by J. Wunderlich. It was repaired in 1870. In its crypt, there is a botanist Alois Velich (1774-1853) and a patron of Božena Němcová, Josef Šafránek (1806-1880). Inside the chapel there is a picture of the Resurrection by J. Hellich from 1838. Today the chapel is completely renovated. The cemetery was abolished in 1904 and later converted into a small park. It underwent extensive renovation in 2014. The Church of the Most Holy Trinity, which is the oldest building in Chlumec nad Cidlinou, and the Zubatovská Chapel, the second dominant feature of the whole area create the axis of the area. In front of the chapel there is a programmable fountain - at some point, eight jets are launched, which spray up to about one meter high. After some pause, the other nine nozzles are activated, creating a fine mist.
