The reconstructed chapel originally stood at Karlovarská Street in Přední Jiviny, on the border of Prague´s districts Řepy and Ruzyně. In 2009 it was moved to a quieter place to the Benedictine monastery in Bílá Hora. The donor of this alcove chapel was Count Jan Filip of Sikingen, Field Marshal and Commander of Prague, together with his wife. The chapel is part of a 14-kilometer late Baroque pilgrimage route that led from Hradčany to Loreto in the Franciscan monastery of Hájek near the village of Červený Újezd near Unhošť. Originally it was lined with 20 niche chapels, of which only 11 have been preserved.
