Very small room. Air was not working. Plugs were inconveniently placed. Only one towel and no shower gel. Laundry service is outrageous. The location was good, and staff were friendly and helpful. Not a 4 star hotel.

A nice quite place in the city. Walking distance to metro, tram, and few other point of interests. Nice staff. I did not know it was a 4-star hotel until now as it more felt like a 3-star at best. Not that I am complaining but the hotel rating standards must be different there. If I may suggest couple things to the management: please add pressure regulator to your faucets. As soon as we turn on water it splashes everywhere. Also, please offer firmer pillow options as the ones we had got flat instantly with the weight of our head. There is a safe in the room to lock your valuables as well as a very quiet fridge to put your leftovers or water bottle. From the price list at check-in desk we saw that A/C and balcony were paid options although we did not have a chance to make any decisions (booked online through Agoda, got a room that had A/C and balcony). We did not need to use the A/C, but we enjoyed the balcony and the rising sun shining our faces for few minutes even though our only view was the artificial garden in the courtyard area. Other than being quiet, the next important thing was breakfast. Their buffet is open from 7 to 10AM and has some good vegetarian options: Czech Pancakes (our favorite), eggs done in 3 different ways, cheese slices, olives, tomato, cucumber, pickled veggies, fruit, cereal, and different bread and pastry choices. Next to hot water with tea bags there is also a full-auto coffee machine where you can dispense espresso, cappuccino, or chocolate milk. Enjoy your tea/coffee at breakfast because there is nothing to drink in the rooms other than tap water. If you want to take some sandwich out with you it will cost 15 Euros according to the sign. I believe this is to deter people from smuggling breakfast outside since you can get a decent lunch for 15 Euros or less pretty much everywhere. Uber here from/to airport costs about 400-600 CZK depending on time of the day and vehicle's location. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

A very bad hotel. Staff is rude, breakfasts consist of non-natural juices and tap water where you can literally taste salt from the pipes. Table with desserts is filled with leftover food from other days of service. always the same food of poor quality. Coffee is bitter and the tea served is PICKWICK. 4 star hotel by the way.

Location is good in a quiet street, close to the center of Prague, walkable distanced to the center and also the main station. Several restaurants are in the streets surrounding the Hotel. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good, but nothing special.

Let’s begin with the good parts on the Arkada: 1. Location - very close to Museum stop and a beautiful park area with church. 2. The Housekeeping Staff - kind and friendly, eager to help. That’s it. I had a couple of issues with this place - it could be my experience, however, depending on what you’re looking for, this may not be the place for you. 1. The reception staff are incredibly rude and incredibly unhelpful. Numerous times I went to ask questions about the surrounding area and no real response, or a simple “I don’t know” was given. One girl also laughed at me when I asked questions - work on your customer service. 2. There are no in room facilities - tea/coffee etc. There is a fridge - random? But what is one meant to keep in it? Besides bananas? It wouldn’t hurt to put these facilities in the room - especially as if you don’t have food booked (breakfast) you have to walk to get a morning cup of coffee from the Costa around the corner - and the staff in there are also rude and like a pack of zombies. 3. The pillows are AWFUL. Your head hits it and then you’re on the mattress - what’s the point? 4. I seemed to pick up some kind of lice while staying here - again, the girl on reception - Miss Rude Face - laughed at the thought and was unhelpful to say the least. No offer of cleaning clothes, giving room thorough clean, switching rooms - or paying for the shampoo I had to buy because of it. I find it fascinating that others have complimented the reception staff - and, To be honest, (apart from the housekeeping) the staff in this place made the stay awful. So if you’re happy with basic decor and terrible staff, please book yourself in. But if you’d like helpful staff - maybe try somewhere else.

Good hotel, solid service. Staff was helpful and all of them spoke excellent english, available 24/7. Decent enough breakfast at good hours. Rooms apparently had AC, though I could not figure out whether or not the control was some sort of placebo, the room never went much below 27C during my summer visit. Where the actual AC unit was hidden remains a mystery. Rooms have doors to adjacent rooms, which might mean you'll have to listen to your neighbours activities... If you stay at a bargain, don't hesitate. At full price... maybe look for some other place.

This hotel basically does not have air conditioning. Only a few rooms with balconies have AC. If you go in the summer, it can be quite cool, or some days can be into the 90s! That is what happened during my stay. My local friends could not believe that this was a 4 star hotel. It really is 2.5 stars. The cleaning person would only give me one towel for my room! It is in a quiet neighborhood. And it is not expensive. I just think that it is very over rated.

Did not get to stay in this hotel, because the problem with booking.com, I've been treated as a no show and charged fully. The manager, his name pronounced like Rafael, was extremely rude and unprofessional, When I was trying to explain things to him in a polite way, all I got was rude words back, in the end he even hung up on me. Regardless how good the hotel is, with this kind of manager, I'm very happy that I did not stay there, even though I lost the money but it's better not have to face those rude people in a different country. Thank God!
