It is a Catholic community, inspired by the spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Today, it operates in about 30 countries and has approximately 2,000 members. In April 1998, Cardinal Vlk recognized the Chemin Neuf Institute and entrusted the former Jesuit monastery in Tuchoměřice to the community. Since July 2001, the community and the parish of Tuchoměřice and Středokluky have been managed. The basic attribute of Chemin Neuf is community life. Komunita Chemin Neuf (Nová cesta) vznikla v roce 1973 v Lyonu z modlitební skupiny kněží a laiků. Je katolickou komunitou, čerpající ze spirituality svatého Ignáce z Loyoly. Dnes působí asi ve 30 zemích světa a má přibližně 2000 členů. V dubnu 1998 uznal kardinál Vlk Institut Chemin Neuf a svěřil komunitě bývalý jezuitský klášter v Tuchoměřicích. Od července 2001 spravuje komunita i farnost Tuchoměřice a Středokluky. Základním atributem Chemin Neuf je komunitní život. Místo slouží k víkendovým akcím a příležitostným akcím komunity Chemin Neuf, pro turisty je zde jen obchůdek v průjezdu, jinak dům je obýván a bydlí zde lidé - neslouží tedy k prohlídkám :D Good enough action for young people and couples and families. The place is used for weekend events and occasional events of the community Chemin Neuf, for tourists there is only a shop in the passage, otherwise the house is inhabited and people live here - so it is not used for tours: D

M	Marek Glogar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jde o místo, které nevypadá z venku moc hezky. Ale nějakým způsobem lidi přitahuje. O to větší překvapení najdete uvnitř. Jedná se o komunitní centrum. Je možné se zde po domluvě ubytovat a strávit čas v tichu a poznat trochu jiný život a to život jakým žije komunita. Nachází se zde obchůdek jejich výrobků a drobného občerstvení, kostel, kaple. Kousek pod klášterem je jízdárna s možností zaplatit si vyjížďku na koni. Já tu trávím Studijně Formační Kurz a je to super zkušenost poznat něco nového. Místo se nachází kousek od Prahy, blízko letiště, ale není to poznat. Snaží se o ekumenu, což znamená že přijímají všechny bez rozdílu náboženství. It's a place that doesn't look very nice out there. But in some way it attracts people. All the more surprise you will find inside. It is a community center. It is possible to stay here by appointment and spend time in silence and get to know a little different life and life as the community lives. There is a shop of their products and small snacks, a church, a chapel. Not far from the monastery there is a riding school with the possibility of a horseback riding. I spend here the Formation Course and it's a great experience to get to know something new. The place is located near Prague, near the airport, but it is not known. They are trying to make an ecumen, which means they accept everyone without distinction of religion.
