V roce 1670 byl vysvěcen pasovským biskupem. Kostel postihly tři požáry, které zničily i město. Pod kostelem nalezneme hrobku rodiny Thunů se zajímavým vyobrazením rodokmenu této rodiny z části vyrobeného z porcelánových tabulek. Prohlídku hrobky si můžete domluvit v rámci prohlídky klášterského zámku. Dovnitř se bohužel nedá jít, ale přes plot je vidět dovnitř. Kostel usiluje o rekonstrukci pomocí místních darů, což je mi velice sympatické. From the outside a beautiful church, which is made up of precise details on the plaster. It beautifully complements the local castle. I definitely recommend for a visit. Unfortunately, it is not possible to go inside, but you can see inside through the fence. The church is striving for reconstruction with the help of local donations, which I really like.
