V roce 2002 nahradila původní meteorologický sloupek v prostoru Mírového náměstí, skrytý pod sklo-ocelovou kopulí. Společně s ocelovou kolonádou kolem kupole patří k novodobým úpravám prostoru náměstí, v jehož místě stávala až do roku 1946 stará čtvrť obytných domů v centru původního města.
Atypical fountain in the shape of a tall transparent tube, from which water overflows into a small pool. In 2002 it replaced the original meteorological column in the area of the Mírové Square, hidden under a glass-steel dome. Together with the steel colonnade around the dome, it is one of the modern adaptations of the square area, which was the site of the old residential houses in the centre of the original town until 1946.
