Na dně kaňonovitých, vidlicově se rozebíhajících údolí, která jsou lemována z větší části skalami, se nachází soustava rybníků a spousta mokřadů a vlhkých luk. Proto byla oblast v roce 1999 vyhlášena přírodní rezervací. Najdete tu rovněž spoustu studánek, ne vždy však s pitnou vodou. Podtrosecká Valleys stretching north and northeast in the arch around the iconic Trosky Castle is a wonderful and peaceful place. On the bottom of the canyon-like, forked valleys lined with rocks, there is a set of ponds and lots of wetlands and wet meadows. That is why the area was declared a nature reserve in 1999. You will also find plenty of wells, but not always drinking water. The Podtrosecká valleys, stretching north and northeast in the arc around the Trosky castle, are a beautiful and quiet place.
