★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Мне очень понравилась задумка разместить разнообразные фигуры по всему городу. И это – одно из таких мест. Я бы особо выделил громадную муху на соседнем доме, двух подвешенных фигур и сами грибы + каракатицы на здании гостиницы, которые, как я понял, начинают светиться, когда наступает вечер. Создаётся ощущение, что на миг попал в какое-то зазеркалье. Да, тут особо ничего революционного нет, но всё же приятно встретить вот так внезапно, что-то необычное, что-то, без особой привязки к месту.
I really liked the idea to place a variety of figures around the city. And this is one of those places. I would especially single out a huge fly on the next house, two suspended figures and mushrooms + cuttlefish on the hotel building, which, as I understood, begin to glow when the evening comes. There is a feeling that for a moment I got into some kind of looking glass. Yes, there is nothing revolutionary here, but it's nice to meet here so suddenly, something unusual, something, without much attachment to the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Прага - удивительный город! Здесь можно часами бродить, наслаждаясь архитектурными красотами, принадлежащим разным стилям и эпохам. Однако, чешская столица не создает впечатления старого консервативного города, зарывшегося в своем историческом прошлом. И сегодня Прага может удивить, а где-то шокировать своими современными арт-объектами, широко представленными здесь.
В четырех кварталах от костела Святого Стефана, минуя Карлову площадь - на пересечении улиц Одбору и На Зборженци в окружении вековых домов, создано весьма интересное арт-пространство, автором которого является знаменитый чешский скульптор Дэвид Черны. Зрительный констраст между старым и новым сглаживается и создается ощущение, что ты оказался в фантастическом мире. Здесь из каменной брусчатки вырастают гигантские, светящиеся в ночи грибы. Подняв свой взор вверх, вы увидите гигантских многоножек, муху и жуков, ползающих по фасадам окружающих зданий, - словно вновь на Землю вернулась палеозойская эра. Здесь же, вопреки закону гравитации, в воздухе парят люди. Последнюю скульптурную группу Дэвид Черны назвал "В утробе", - вот так автор изобразил средний класс, отчаяние и грусть тех, кто пострадал во время рецессии.
Prague is an amazing city! Here you can wander for hours, enjoying the architectural beauty belonging to different styles and eras. However, the Czech capital does not create the impression of an old conservative city, buried in its historical past. And today, Prague may surprise, and somewhere, shock with its modern art objects, widely represented here.
Four blocks from the church of St. Stephen, bypassing Charles Square - at the intersection of Odboru and Na Zborzhentsi, surrounded by centuries-old houses, created a very interesting art space, the author of which is the famous Czech sculptor David Cherny. The visual contrast between the old and the new is smoothed out and it creates the feeling that you are in a fantasy world. Here from the stone pavement grow giant mushrooms in the night mushrooms. Raising your gaze upwards, you will see giant centipedes, a fly and beetles crawling on the facades of the surrounding buildings — as if the Paleozoic era had returned to Earth. Here, contrary to the law of gravity, people hover in the air. The last sculptural group David Cherny called "In the Womb" - this is how the author portrayed the middle class, the despair and sadness of those who suffered during the recession.
