There have been well-known chimney cakes – called Trdelníks, around for some time, but at first-sight you can spot the difference that the GOOD FOOD® Chimney Cakes are the really special ones! Why are they so special?
GOOD FOOD® was the first to take the classic Trdelník chimney shape and mould it into the unique, original cone shape, so they could fill it full of flavour.
The GOOD FOOD® Chimney Cake now officially keeps it’s title as THE ORIGINAL, as GOOD FOOD® have registered this shape in order to ensure its uniqueness.
Our ingeniously crafted chimney cones filled with our own recipes, made with home-made ice creams or flavoured whipped creams, topped with fresh fruits, caramels and other delicacies from our own famous secret recipes that are simply irresistible.
All that nature. No substitutes!
Once we state our ICE CREAM has always and forever been HOME-MADE, then you can take it for granted. Why? Because we make it the traditional Italian “GELATO” way, which means it is made in small batches from fresh milk. Churned at a much slower rate, it incorporates less air and leaves the ice cream denser, silkier, smoother with a more intense flavour and a lot less fat. That means we quite literally bring you all the freshness and goodness almost immediately without using harmful preservatives.
But the magic does not stop there… The ingredients added to create our GOOD FOOD® Chimney Cakes are also carefully selected in order to bring you a complete taste sensation. In the page footnotes, you will be able to read about a selected few and their special qualities, whether it is bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, Belgian chocolates, active Japanese charcoal, Italian parmesan or even Asian cinnamon.

We wanted to try the original without any filling, to compare it to the ones I ate before.
1. They messed up the order and filled chocolate, so naturally we rejected it. So they made a second one.
2. The outer coating was bitter and the cake was thin and tough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Craving for Chimney cakes? Good food coffee and bakery is the perfect place to go to. The location is very convenient just a few steps from the Charles bridge. The freshly made chimney cakes gives a lovely fragrance to the place. There are several variety of chimney cakes available here. I tried the double chocolate one. It was absolutely delicious. The cakes itself was very soft. I also tried the hot chocolate here. It was thick and very rich in chocolate. Must visit place if you are in Prague.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best sweet treat that I've been tasted. The ice cream is perfect, I asked for the mango with coconut and it tasted so mango, deliciooous. The dough was the best, I love doughs in general, but this one was soft, easy to eat and fantastic. Everyone should try this food here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place along Karlova street (the main tourist path) which offers a wide selection of trdelník. It’s just a hundred meters from Charles Bridge so it’s easy to spot. The trdelník they serve is warm, crispy, and always freshly made. The service is efficient, especially given the huge number of people that frequent this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place for trdelnik in Prague. There are various of delicious tastes and even some interesting designs and flavours. The staff is really kind and helpful. There also offer a classical chimney which is always warm and soft. It is prepared in front of you. The caramel or white chocolate flavours are more than AMAZING!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are a lot of stores selling chimney cake. I visited here since it got a lot of reviews. The price might be overrated. The ice cream taste is so so. However I loved the chimney cake, it is kind of crunchy and sweet. But overall, I still enjoyed it. Their service is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good but honestly overpriced. The flavor and the quality were okay, however, we are talking about an 8€+ filled pastry and it is definitely a hype.
The interesting thing is their variety for sure, and the convenience of their location. It’s nice to see them making the cakes and I guess a nice experience for kids to watch.
