Firstly……. Alberto, you made our stay great! We’ve been staying in Prague every year for about 18 years, during this time we’ve had plenty of time to stay at many different hotels. Location: This was our first time staying at Hotel Don Giovanni, we always look for a hotel close enough to the centre with easy access to tram/metro stops with good links to the main Prague station. The hotel ticked all these boxes, especially with a metro station less than 5 minutes away. Room: The rooms are a little dated, but extremely clean. The bed was nice and big, but the normal Czech style of two singles pushed together……. As a result, they do separately if you sleep closer together in the middle. (Honeymooners take note) The only massive downside to the room is the old-style inspection toilets, if you don’t have experience of this toilet style you are so lucky. Needless to say, I have experience and I HATE THEM!!!! Breakfast: Super choice and again very clean. Also, this is the FIRST Czech hotel I’ve stayed in that had real UK style sausages (US Linked Sausage) Fresh fried eggs and possibly the most creamy scrabbled eggs I’ve ever had. Great coffee and lots of Czech pastries. Very attentive staff who kept on top of the empty plates. This isn’t the hotels' fault, just a general Czech hotel issue and extremely petty on my behalf….. Just let us have tinned baked beans, they don’t even need to be Heinz…… Please stop the posh fresh cooked beans in hand made sauce, it’s breakfast and breakfast needs canned beans. Now the totally best thing about this hotel (management take notice) is Alberto…… While in the Executive lounge (super by the way) we met this ray of light. Attentive, super friendly, kind, approachable and warm. To be honest, if she could, my wife would have brought him home instead of me. We are very lucky and stayed in lots of hotels all around the world, I can honestly say Alberto is the most memorable and likeable team member I’ve ever been lucky enough to meet. We’d seriously go back to Hotel Don Giovanni just to see him again. Thank you, Alberto, you made our stay so great.

Our room was dirty (we found hair on the bed and a screw and a pair of earrings on the floor!). When we asked the receptionist to be moved to another room we had to wait 20 minutes before the housekeeper and "Martin" arrived, but they didn't even apologize! We were given another room bit the toilet seat was loose and none fixed it even if we requested! The cocktails and the breakfast were really nice though. I think the customer care and the cleanliness should be improved otherwise you will lose a lot of customers ?

A wonderful hotel with comfortable beds and nice views of Prague. The rooms are spacious, and the complimentary bottles of wine are a pleasant touch. The bar and the entire hotel are stylishly decorated. P.S. One note: I accidentally left my NHL t-shirt beside the TV in the junior suite and checked out. Somehow, the staff never found the shirt :)

Nice location, just a few steps from the metro station. Fair selection of food during breakfast. Worth of price. But very tired rooms. Soft bed, not so comfy. Only one pillow. Old fashion small TV, but good choice of international channels. The hotel staff provide good service.

Second visit, first in 2017, now in 2022. Improved tremendously in service, cleanliness. My room was around 30m2 including a coffee/tea machine, complementary bottle of wine and daily cleaning and fresh towel. Would definitely recommend both as a business hotel as for leisure since a subway entrance is right next to it and will get you to the city centre in about 8-10 minutes. Includes parking beneath the hotel.

Big room and had everything you need. Kettle, tea and coffee stuff. Breakfast was excellent, with loads to choose from. One of the best breakfast choices you'll ever have. There was something for everyone. We recommend buying your ticket from the airport and you should receive a ticket for both the bus and metro. The metro is literally on the hotel's doorstep. Perfect. Then it's just a easy to buy a 24hr 36hr etc ticket for all your travelling to and from the main town of Prague. DO NOT forget to check that your ticket has been time stamped in the yellow ticket boxes dotted everywhere. We did the stamping but didn't check that the printer was working properly. We were inspected by metro staff who knew we had just come off a plane. No printed stamp on the ticket meant it cost us £34 each. Apart from that, the trip, the metro etc was superb.

For a 4* hotel some furniture looks pretty old. Bar close pretty soon.Staff was polite, room was clean.Breakfast was extraordinary with many different choices to eat. Better to go to eat as soon is possible because after 8 am it's little bit too crowded. Atmosphere even better thanks to great pianists at the reception.

We went there for New Years celebrations and the organization was amazing. The hotel is close to public transport and it's really easy to reach the center of Prague. The food and drinks in the restaurants are really good. The spa on the top floor is nice as well, but could be improved greatly. The resting area was a bit loud, a little bar with drinks and coffee would be nice. The rooms are really great and the beds super comfy.
